Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead within its Water Business Group to monitor and improve technical competencies, staff development, and execution of water resource planning that meets federal standards. The role aims to promote a quality culture and drive growth across HDR projects.

The successful candidate will mentor teams, collaborate with market sector directors and other leaders, and help hire and support career progression of staff in this technical service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• A minimum of 10 years experience preferred.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture required.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as a Quality Control lead and technical lead for projects.
• Lead or support standards and guidelines for technical tools, checklists, workflows and techniques to enhance service quality.
• Participate in tactical planning, align initiatives with market drivers and client needs, and support recruiting key positions.
• Work with HDR staff and clients to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits as lead or team member.
