Job summary

HDR seeks a Business Class Lead to advance water resource planning initiatives within our Federal market. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams, shape project delivery strategy, and guide staff development while aligning with industry standards and client needs.

You will collaborate with market directors, business groups, and area staff to foster growth, hire top talent, and ensure delivery excellence across projects in HDR’s water practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in water resources or related fields.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as Quality Control lead and technical lead on projects.
• Lead or support technical tools, checklists, workflows, and best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in tactical planning, engage HDR teams, and align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; support recruiting for key positions.
• Collaborate with client-facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; drive industry-facing strategies.
