Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead (BCL) within the Water group to mentor staff, drive delivery excellence, and support growth initiatives. The role collaborates with the Business Class Director and HDR peers to align initiatives with client needs, industry trends, and market drivers.

The BCL will lead or support standards, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in staffing, training, and career progression across water resource planning for federal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as QC lead and technical lead for projects.
• Lead or support standards and guidelines to improve service quality and efficiency; promote forward-thinking delivery strategies.
• Engage in tactical planning with HDR teams to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; support recruiting efforts.
• Collaborate with client-facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits.
