Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead (BCL) in the Water Business Group to oversee delivery, mentoring, and staff development while driving market growth. You will work with the Business Class Director and HDR peers to monitor technical competencies and ensure project performance in water resource planning that meets federal standards.

The role requires leadership across disciplines, collaboration with market sector directors, and the ability to hire and train staff while advancing quality

Qualifications

• Experience leading plan formulation for Federal clients; PR&G knowledge (USACE) is ideal.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to successful project outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 10 years experience required.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Commitment to an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching.
• Lead or support HDR standards and guidelines, tools, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in tactical planning and align initiatives with market drivers and client needs.
• Collaborate with client-facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches.
