Job summary

HDR seeks a Business Class Lead to oversee water resource planning and staff development within our Environmental Sci and Planning group. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality projects, mentoring teams, and aligning initiatives to client needs across HDR markets.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to HDRe employee-owned culture.2024

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; serve as a Quality Control lead, technical advisor, and technical lead for specific projects.
• Leading or supporting standards and guidelines technical tools, checklists, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participating in tactical planning including engagement with HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs; lead or support recruiting key positions.
• Working with HDR colleagues including client facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on specific pursuits as a lead or team member.
