Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Waterpark Supervisor for our Pocono Manor, PA location. This hourly role focuses on guest and associate safety across indoor and outdoor waterpark areas, with responsibilities spanning training, safety monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Assist Waterpark Manager with associates’ training and in-service training and demonstrate all rescue skills upon request.
• Ensure lifeguards and EMTs are performing to standards set by the certifying agency and management team.
• Walk the waterpark floor to monitor safety, guest satisfaction and lifeguard performance.
• Conduct morning and evening in-services and complete necessary documents.
• Prepare required paperwork, including forms, write-ups, reports and schedules.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment safe, clean and in excellent working condition.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Supervisor . In this role, you will be responsible for the safety of guests/associates in all pools, hot tubs, slides, attractions, and interactive features in the indoor and outdoor waterpark areas; applying life‑saving skills and first aid to any guest who is in need .

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love —guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll e nsure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always .

This is an hourly wage role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Waterpark Manager with associates’ training and in-service training and demonstrate all rescue skills upon request
• Ensure lifeguards and EMT’s are performing to the standards set forth by Kalahari certifying agency and management team.
• Walk entire waterpark floor throughout shifts checking on safety concerns, guest satisfactions and lifeguard performances.
• Conduct morning and evening in-services, and ensure that all who participate complete the necessary documents
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, write-ups, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
• Work with the waterpark maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is kept safe, clean and kept in excellent working condition through monitoring of daily

What We’re Looking For

• Starguard Lifeguard Instructor certification in waterpark/special facilities required .
• Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role preferred
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
