Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Operations Manager in Round Rock, TX. This hourly role oversees administration, operation, safety, and staff performance across all waterpark venues, delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead recruiting, scheduling, training, and compliance while driving service standards and profitability. Collaborate with leadership to sustain safe, welcoming environments for guests and associates.

Qualifications

• Certifications required: lifeguard and pool operator.
• Minimum 2 years in management within waterpark/aquatics.
• Leadership style centered on collaboration, respect, and service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop waterpark associates in accordance with policies.
• Oversee scheduling, cost controls, safety standards, and profitability.
• Assist with waterpark initiatives and ensure effective execution with staff.
• Manage all operations within waterpark venues.
• Ensure lifeguards and EMTs meet certification standards.

Waterpark Operation Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aWaterpark Operation Manager.In this role, you willbe accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest/associate safety, sanitation/cleanliness, equipment safety/repairs, sales/profitability, costs, employee retention, and guest service satisfaction of all Resort venues located in the indoor and outdoor waterpark.

This is an hourly wage role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for all waterpark associates’ recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, and training, assigning, scheduling, evaluating, supervisingperformanceand carrying out disciplinary action as neededin accordance withKalahari policies,proceduresand applicable laws.
• Oversee cost controls and labor scheduling for all aspects of waterpark operations, tooptimizesafety, servicestandardsand maximize profitability.
• Assist with Kalahari waterparks’ plan, strategies, actions and executing them effectively with waterpark associates.
• Oversee all operations within the waterpark venues.
• Ensure lifeguards and EMT’s are performing to the standards set forth by Kalahari certifying agency and management team.

WhatWe’reLooking For

• Star Guard Lifeguard Certification, Star Guard Instructor Certification, and Certified Pool Operator Certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in management, waterpark or aquatics departments with progressive managerial and leadership responsibilitiesrequired.
