Melrosehoteldc is seeking a Part-time Line Cook to join our waterside hotel team in Maryland. You will prepare menu items, coordinate with the Sous Chef, and support line cooks across all stations while maintaining proper storage and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant.
• Ability to work all stations on the line.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Enjoys working as part of a team to provide great experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Review assignments and anticipated business levels with Sous Chef/Station Cook I.
• Start prep on items for the day's menu and assist line cooks during shift.
• Set up workstation with mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies; close out at shift end.
• Maintain proper storage and follow Health Department guidelines.
