Job summary

RK&K is seeking a highly motivated Structural Project Engineer to join our municipal infrastructure team. The role focuses on structural analysis, design, and delivery of water and wastewater facility structures, building-type structures, and related municipal projects.

You will lead structural scopes, collaborate across disciplines from concept through construction, develop contract documents, perform condition assessments, provide construction-phase support, and mentor junior engineers while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus.
PE license required.
4+ years of structural engineering experience in environmental and building-type projects.
Proficiency in IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318/350, AISC 360, TMS 402/602.
Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, RAM software.
Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for RC, masonry, steel, and aluminum structures.
Prepare construction documents and calculations for municipal projects.
Coordinate with multi-discipline team and lead tasks.
Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.
Mentor junior engineers and support project budgets.
