Job summary

RK&K is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead our municipal infrastructure team. The ideal candidate brings 10-20 years of structural engineering experience across water/wastewater and buildings, plus strong PM, budgeting, and team leadership abilities.

This role guides structural project teams from concept to construction, mentors staff, and serves as the primary structural contact for clients and subconsultants, coordinating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience, including environmental facilities and building-type structures.
• PE license and strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, ACI 350, AISC 360, and TMS 402/602.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural scope for environmental projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Mentor engineering staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary leads and clients.
• Develop project scopes, fee proposals, and track budgets and milestones.
• Oversee QA/QC of structural deliverables and manage site investigations and condition assessments.
• Provide technical direction on reinforced concrete, structural steel, and masonry designs.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards and maintain licensure.
