Job summary

RK&K is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to lead our municipal infrastructure team. You will manage structural scope on environmental and building projects, coordinate with cross-discipline leads, and mentor engineers while serving as primary client contact.

The role emphasizes project leadership, budgeting, and quality control from concept through construction, with a focus on delivering safe, durable facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural focus and a PE license.
• 10+ years' structural engineering experience, including environmental facilities and building-type structures.
• Proficiency applying IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318/350, AISC 360, and TMS 402/602.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver structural engineering scope for environmental projects, on schedule and within budget.
• Lead project teams in structural analyses, calculations, specs, and contract documents.
• Assist in development of scopes, fee proposals, and task schedules while tracking budgets and hours.
• Provide technical direction on reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, foundations, and liquid-retaining structures.
• Perform quality control reviews and QA for structural deliverables.
