Consor in Portland, OR is seeking a Water & Wastewater Project Engineer to lead municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design from planning through construction support. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients and regulators to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate is a PE with 6–12 years of water/wastewater experience, proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and capable of advancing project leadership and business

Qualifikationen

• 6 to 12 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure design, permitting, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and public-sector agencies.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and review engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Apply engineering standards, criteria, and regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure design quality and integrity.
• Coordinate design efforts with internal teams, subconsultants, clients, and regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a Task Lead or Assistant Project Manager on multidisciplinary project teams and manage contracts valued at $500,000+.
• Support planning, cost estimating, scheduling, and quality control throughout project development.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers.
• Assist with business development, including proposals and client engagement.
• Contribute to securing and delivering $100,000 to $500,000+ in new work annually.
