Job summary

Consor is seeking a Water & Wastewater Engineering Designer to join our Portland team. You will develop detailed design drawings, layouts, and construction documents for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, working with CAD tools and a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has 2–6 years of relevant experience, a B.S.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design drawings, layouts, profiles, and construction plan sets for water and wastewater projects using CAD.
• Assist with design calculations, hydraulic analyses, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits, data collection for design development.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop designs.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, exhibits, design reports, and supporting calculations.
• Support permitting, utility coordination, and construction-phase services including RFIs and submittals.
• Participate in quality control reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Support project delivery from planning through bidding and construction.
