Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, dewatering treatment, and testing equipment at an industrial facility. The role requires learning to operate pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves, and related equipment to purify water to customer specs.

You will join a team responsible for safety, quality, and reliability, with potential on-site emergency on-call duties and ability to handle various process control tasks using computer-based systems.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend English for operating instructions and safety documents.
• Ability to work in a team and take on additional responsibilities.
• Must be able to serve rotational 24 hour emergency on-call if required by site.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains sludge, dewatering, and testing equipment.
• Learns and independently operates pumps, engines, centrifuges, and related equipment.
• Contributes to meeting processing and quality targets as part of a team.
