Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge treatment and testing equipment at an industrial facility. The role requires learning and independently running pumps, centrifuges, generators, valves and other process hardware, with a focus on safety, quality, and meeting targets.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and offers a 24-hour on-call rotation as needed. On-site work with potential for career growth and comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some related experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English; basic math skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge, dewatering, processing, disposal and testing equipment.
• Learn and independently operate equipment such as pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators, valves and belts.
• Work in a team environment and accept additional responsibilities.
• Use computer programs for process control.
