Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge treatment and testing equipment in an industrial facility. You will ensure water purification aligns with customer specs and support on-call duties as required.

The role requires reading/writing English, basic math, and the ability to work in a team while using process control software. A Tennessee wastewater license within two years and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

Must read, write and understand English.
Able to perform basic math calculations.
Must pass drug test and criminal background check.
Tennessee Grade 1 Wastewater Operator license within two years.
Must be able to work rotating 24-hour on-call shifts if required.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate assigned machines and equipment independently.
Operate pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators, valves, mixers, conveyors, and related equipment.
Work in a team and be ready for additional responsibilities.
Use computer programs for process control.
