Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge treatment and testing equipment in an industrial facility. You will ensure water purification aligns with customer specs and support on-call duties as required.

The role requires reading/writing English, basic math, and the ability to work in a team while using process control software. A Tennessee wastewater license within two years and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Must pass drug test and criminal background check.
• Tennessee Grade 1 Wastewater Operator license within two years.
• Must be able to work rotating 24-hour on-call shifts if required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate assigned machines and equipment independently.
• Operate pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators, valves, mixers, conveyors, and related equipment.
• Work in a team and be ready for additional responsibilities.
• Use computer programs for process control.
