Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent to represent on-site project leadership. You will coordinate daily activities, plan alongside PM/Sr PM, and ensure alignment with the project strategy for multi‑million-dollar endeavors.

You will supervise labor, subcontractors, and equipment, driving safety, quality, and timely execution. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of field management, strong communication, OSHA familiarity, and proficiency in scheduling and cost

Qualifications

• Degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years field experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience with heavy civil or water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily coordination and direction on site.
• Develop pre-planning and align daily/weekly activities with plan.
• Coordinate and supervise all company workforce and subcontractors.
• Maintain project logs and three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Manage equipment, materials, and costs, ensuring safety and quality.
• Participate in owner/engineer meetings and report schedule changes.
