Job summary

Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. seeks a seasoned on-site Superintendent to lead daily project direction and safety planning, ensuring alignment with pre-planned approaches for projects up to $50 million.

You will coordinate with the Senior Project Manager, manage labor resources, and drive quality, scheduling, and cost control while maintaining strong owner and subcontractor relations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).
• 7+ years of construction field experience with increasing supervisory responsibility.
• Experience managing heavy civil or water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Safety planning and enforcing company and regulatory standards on the project.
• Coordinate and supervise all on-site workforce and subcontractors.
• Assist in project planning and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Manage daily cost records and project logs for accurate bid opportunities.
• Maintain strong owner/engineer/contractor relationships and timely communications.
