Crossland Heavy Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the safe completion of projects within budget and schedule, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

The role requires leading a project team, coordinating with superintendent, and managing timelines, costs, and subcontractors across heavy civil or industrial projects. The position emphasizes pre-job planning, procurement oversight, and effective communication with owners and engineers, with extensive use of Procore,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (Preferred).
• 5–10+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in heavy civil or industrial construction (Preferred).
• Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout (Preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and cost control processes (Preferred).
• Experience with water/wastewater or transportation infrastructure projects (Preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training (Preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety integration in project planning and execution.
• Plan and mobilize projects; submit front-end docs.
• Oversee procurement and subcontracting responsibilities.
• Maintain overall project schedule using P6.
• Manage pay applications and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate with owner/engineer and conduct progress meetings.
• Review submittals and log documentation (Procore/Box).
• Ensure quality control and startup plans.
