Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, dewatering and testing equipment at an industrial facility. You will ensure purification processes meet customer specs and work within a team to improve safety and quality targets.

Responsibilities include learning and independently running pumps, engines, centrifuges, conveyors and related devices, with some on-call rotation. High school diploma or GED required; prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Some experience in a related position and environment preferred.
• Must demonstrate a working ability to use computer programs for process control.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sludge and dewatering equipment to meet specs.
• Learn and independently operate pumps, engines, centrifuge, generators and related devices.
• Work in a team and take on new responsibilities as needed.
• Be available for rotational 24-hour on-call if required.
