Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an Operator I to operate and maintain sludge, de-watering treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment at an industrial facility under direct supervision. You will learn to perform unit rounds, collect samples, log readings, and assist in preventive maintenance as you advance through competency levels.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of several safety and technical trainings, including 40 Hour HAZWOPER, Hazard

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification required.
• Hazard Recognition training required.
• PSM Training completed or in progress.
• Industrial Basic Plus training required.
• Veolia Safety Modules (Annual) completed.
• Veolia Monthly Safety training completed.

Responsibilities

• Learn and independently operate assigned machines and equipment.
• Operate pumps, centrifuges, valves, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed, and odor control equipment.
• Collect samples and perform routine testing.
• Log and record process readings.
• Perform unit rounds and participate in preventative maintenance.
• Assist in general maintenance of facility equipment.
