Job summary

Black & Veatch invites students enrolled in ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering programs to apply for the Electrical Engineer Intern - Water role. You will gain hands-on experience in a diverse, employee-owned engineering environment, supporting water/wastewater projects and collaborating across engineering teams.

You will contribute to deliverables, assist analyses, and learn through mentorship, training, and real-scale projects in a full-time, on-site internship.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of electrical deliverables: reports, drawings, specifications, studies.
• Support analyses, designs and report production for projects.
• Collaborate with disciplines and schedule deliverables.
• Organize data and apply computer modeling to analyze systems.
