Job summary

Black & Veatch, Overland Park, KS, invites you to join as a Summer Intern in Mechanical Engineering within our Water/Industrial Water Systems discipline. You will support the design of mechanical equipment and systems used across the facilities we engineer. No experience is required.

Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program is required. You will work full-time in the office, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and gain hands-on experience on

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawings
• Perform variety of tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs
• Prepare basic calculations
• Assist in basic equipment selection
• Coordinate with other disciplines
