Job summary
Badger Meter Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to lead pre-sales technical design for water quality and smart metering systems. The role requires collaborating with account teams and distributors to present innovative technologies in the Central/Eastern US, with Charlotte, NC as a preferred location.
You will respond to RFPs, mentor teams, and stay ahead of industry trends to keep Badger Meter as the partner of choice for utilities and municipalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years in water/wastewater or technical solution design.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted advisor during pre-sales with technical expertise for water quality and smart metering systems.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Channel Managers, and distributors to present innovative technologies.
- Participate in technical seminars, trade shows, and industry events to showcase Badger Meter’s leadership.
- Respond to RFPs, bids, and customer inquiries with precision.
- Mentor and support internal teams to strengthen sales effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure Badger Meter remains the partner of choice.
