Badger Meter is seeking a Solution Architect to lead pre-sales technical design for water quality and smart metering systems across the Central/Eastern US, ideally based in Charlotte, NC. You will partner with Account Managers and distributors to tailor solutions, respond to RFPs, and drive customer success.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll be on the front end of the sales process, partnering with customers and collaborating with our sales team to design solutions that meet their unique needs. This role is about building relationships, driving innovation, and working as part of a team to deliver exceptional value—not transactional selling. This role will cover the Central/Eastern US Territory (NC, SC, VA, WV, KY, TN), the preferred candidate will be in Charlotte NC, and must live in the territory served.

• Respond to RFPs, bids, and customer inquiries with precision and professionalism.
• Mentor and support internal teams, sharing knowledge and best practices to strengthen overall sales effectiveness.
