Job summary

Badger Meter, a global leader in smart water technology, seeks an Account Manager to partner with municipal and utility customers across lift stations, collection systems, and stormwater networks. You will deliver DFS SCADA and telemetry solutions, build trusted relationships, and help customers optimize operations.

You’ll travel up to 75% within your territory, collaborate with engineers and decision-makers, and represent Badger Meter at events to strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required or preferred.
• 3+ years of account management experience, preferably with utilities or government agencies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within your territory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with municipal and utility customers to understand operational challenges across lift stations, collection systems, and stormwater networks, delivering tailored DFS SCADA and telemetry solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators, engineers, and decision-makers, acting as a trusted resource for system optimization and modernization.
• Collaborate with industry innovators and leverage team expertise to present new technologies and products to current and prospective clients.
• Educate customers on best practices and emerging technologies in remote monitoring, alarm management, system integration, and digital transformation.
• Serve as a resource and advisor, ensuring customers stay informed on the latest advancements in AMI, smart metering, and water quality solutions.
• Represent Badger Meter and Data Flow Systems at industry events, technical conferences, and customer engagements to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
