Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer – Water/Sewer Compliance Coordinator to support the Chicago Department of Water’s multi-billion CIP. This role is part of the Water Main Design task, focusing on Title 35 compliance and corrective actions.

You will collaborate across departments to update compliance templates, perform IEPA audits, maintain records, and assist with project documentation. Strong communication and MS Office skills are important; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus equivalent experience or education.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Support Water Main Design for Title 35 compliance and corrective work actions.
• Coordinate with records department and BES Sewer for project records.
• Attend Title 35 pre-construction meetings and assist with agendas.
• Assist with IEPA Title 35 compliance audits and closeout reports.
• Collaborate with Water/Sewer Compliance Manager on assignments.
