McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with 5–10 years of experience, focused on water resource work. You will engage on projects in fisheries, hydropower, dams and other civil infrastructure, collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• P.E. or P.Eng. licensure a plus.
• Experience with water resource infrastructure incl. fishery projects, hydropower, dams, water conveyance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documentation reports, technical memos, and other reports summarizing criteria and design methods.
• Evaluate, select and apply advanced structural design techniques.
• Perform structural computations and analyses per current design codes.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand or CAD.
• Edit project specifications and assist with the Project Manual.
• Support construction phase services including submittals and field inspections.
• Develop FEA models and present results to clients clearly.
• Coordinate planning, design, and construction support services.
• Collect field data and as-built plans for condition assessment.
• Mentor other engineering staff.
