Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team in Minneapolis/Columbus. You will work on stormwater, drainage, and erosion control analyses, providing hydrologic and hydraulic design expertise and guidance to project teams.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources Engineering, PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, and 5+ years of water resources experience.

Qualifications

• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience with listed tools.
• Proficiency in CAD programs, especially AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic design tasks and studies.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams.
• Independently manage design tasks, reports, and cost estimation.
• Assist in plan development and schedule adherence.
• Participate in field work as needed.
• Maintain project milestones and timelines.
