Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team in Minneapolis, MN. You will contribute to stormwater design, hydrologic analysis, and water quality planning for diverse land development projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in water resources, PE registration or ability within six months, and strong CAD skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Excellent communication and client-focused approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience with common tools such as TR-55, TR-20, PC-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD or similar.
• Proficient with CAD programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of watershed and flood analysis principles.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance in hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis.
• Independently manage hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in field work as needed.
