Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team in Minneapolis/St. Paul area, with opportunities in Madison, WI. You will lead hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and guide design efforts for drainage, ponding, and river restoration.

Collaborate with Land Development teams, prepare reports and cost estimates, and deliver projects with quality and on schedule. A PE license or the ability to obtain it within 6 months is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years' experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams in hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis.
• Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
