Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team. This role focuses on hydrologic and hydraulic design for land development, stormwater management, and water quality analysis, with opportunities to contribute across projects in the Midwest.

The position requires a BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources Eng, PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, and 5+ years of water resources design/analysis experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
• PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 5+ years of water resources design and analysis experience.
• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams in hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis.
• Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in field work as needed.
