Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join the North Central Community Development team. The role focuses on stormwater management, drainage design, and water quality analyses for diverse projects.

Requirements include a BS in Civil/Environmental/Water Resources Engineering, 5+ years of water resources experience, and PE eligibility within 6 months. CAD/ GIS skills and strong communication are preferred for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years of experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams in hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis.
• Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies.
• Assist in plan development and cost estimation.
• Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
• Participate in field work as needed.
