Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an experienced, part-time professional to provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, supporting SDWA and CWA compliance. The role blends onsite and remote work with travel to field sites, focusing on regulatory programs, asset management, and emergency planning in small to rural communities.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or Bachelor’s with relevant coursework and substantial experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science, or policy.
• 8+ years (Master’s) or 10+ years (Bachelor’s) of relevant experience.
• Experience with SDWA/CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Operator certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in support of drinking water and wastewater utilities, regulatory program implementation oversight activities, and guidance development.
• Assist government agencies and communities to address water operational, regulatory challenges.
• Deliver onsite and remote assistance to utilities to help achieve SDWA/CWA compliance.
• Lead the development of client-ready products and manage deliverables.
• Ensure quality assurance of products and analyses.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Travel to field sites as needed.
