Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a part-time professional to provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, helping them meet SDWA and CWA requirements. The role combines field and remote work, with opportunities to travel to small and rural communities.

You will bring regulatory knowledge, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with water utility operations. The position includes competitive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science or policy and extensive relevant work experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water/wastewater operator preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in support of drinking water and wastewater utilities and regulatory programs.
• Lead development of client-ready products and manage tasks to deliverables.
• Conduct research and analysis and communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with clients and team members, and travel as needed.
• Ensure high-quality outputs and client satisfaction; seek follow-on work.
• Support field visits and regulatory oversight activities as needed.
