Cadmus is seeking an experienced part-time professional to provide on-site and remote technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, helping them comply with SDWA and CWA. The role emphasizes regulatory program oversight, data collection, and solution development for small rural communities.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of related work, relevant advanced degrees, strong communication, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science and policy and at least 8 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s with the same coursework focus and at least 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities; operator certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise in support of technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities and guidance development.
• Lead the development of client-ready products and manage tasks effectively.
• Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Demonstrate QA/QC of deliverables and conduct sound research and analysis.
• Travel as needed to field sites and support on-site and remote assistance.
• Collaborate with regulators and operators to address regulatory challenges and improve public health.
