Job summary

Cadmus seeks an experienced, part-time professional to provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, supporting SDWA/CWA compliance. The role blends onsite field work with remote support for government agencies and communities, emphasizing regulatory knowledge, data collection, and client-focused deliverables.

The successful candidate will travel as needed, engage with tribal utilities, and contribute to emergency response planning and asset management efforts.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with relevant coursework and substantial field experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water/wastewater operator is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities and regulatory programs.
• Support client deliverables with quality assurance and timely management.
• Lead development of client-ready products and guidance.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal form.
• Travel as needed to field sites and meetings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with necessary software tools.
• Ensure client satisfaction and pursue follow-on opportunities.
