Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a North Carolina Water Business Group Project Delivery Leader to guide the growth and delivery of water and wastewater projects.

The role reports to the Area Water Business Group Manager and collaborates with market sector leads, client managers, and staff to align vision and execution. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in consulting engineering, a track record of delivering complex projects, and a commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience delivering consulting engineering services.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide project delivery oversight of scope, schedule, budget and staffing.
• Lead project management and reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate staff assignments and resource sharing across BGX.
• Develop recruiting strategies with leadership.
• Mentor staff across the NC Area.
• Engage with professional organizations to raise HDR's profile.
