Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Delivery Leader in North Carolina to guide the growth of the Water Business Group. You will align vision with local and national leadership, delivering projects that protect public health and infrastructure.

As part of HDR’s employee-owned culture, you will mentor staff, coordinate with Market Sector Leaders, and drive strategies for expanding services to clients across the region. This role requires collaboration and travel within NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree preferred; PMP certification beneficial.
• Professional registration may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Develop project management skills in collaboration with the Professional Services Leader.
• Provide project delivery oversight: scope, schedule, budget, staffing.
• Participate in Project Reviews.
• Coordinate staff assignment with Market Sector Leaders.
• Manage workshare between other BGs and Areas.
• Assist in streamlining Area project management processes.
• Serve as a cross-BGX champion.
• Mentor staff across the NC Area.
• Coordinate engagement in professional organizations.
• Maintain MOA responsibilities.
• Serve as Project Manager for key projects with strategic clients.
• Help develop recruiting strategies with leadership.
