Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Project Delivery Leader for the North Carolina area. The role leads expansion of HDR’s Water services, delivering drinking water, wastewater and stormwater projects with a focus on quality and client impact.

The position requires 10+ years of experience, a bachelor's degree, and strong leadership and communication skills; PMP preferred. Travel within NC/SC is expected, and the role reports to the Area Water Business Group Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, professional registration may be required.
• 10+ years of experience delivering consulting engineering services.
• PMP certification preferred; local candidates are favored.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project delivery oversight related to scope, schedule, budget and staffing.
• Participate in project reviews and coordinate staff assignments across projects.
• Develop recruiting strategies and mentor staff within the NC Area.
• Coordinate with Market Sector Leaders and other BGX champions to streamline processes.
