Job summary

HDR is seeking a North Carolina Water Business Group Project Delivery Leader to guide the growth of HDR’s water and wastewater services in the Charlotte region. You will lead project delivery, mentoring staff, and coordinating with market sector directors to align strategy.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years delivering consulting engineering services, a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and PMP certification preferred. Travel within NC/SC is expected as part of responsible program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide project delivery oversight covering scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor staff and lead staff development across the NC Area.
• Coordinate with Market Sector Leaders to assign project staff.
• Lead recruiting strategy with Area leadership and support implementation.
• Serve as a Project Manager for key projects with strategic clients.
