Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Operations Manager for our Water Plant to lead daily operations, manage a team of operators, and ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency. You will drive performance through coaching, SOP adherence, and budgeting in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a BA/BS with 5–7 years of water/wastewater experience and a CDL or Water/Wastewater license preference. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to support a safe, reliable water utility operation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related field with 5–7 years water/wastewater experience.
• Valid Driver's License; Water/Wastewater Operator's License preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leads operators and oversees people management including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, training, and succession planning.
• Ensures SOPs, DOT, OSHA and other regulatory requirements are met.
• Communicates with account managers weekly about ongoing operations.
• Performs site visits and coordinates with maintenance on repairs and upgrades.
• Manages maintenance of trucks/equipment and capital budgeting.
• Creates and reviews monthly operations reports and the operational budget.
• Assesses performance and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
