Job summary

Inframark LLC is seeking a Lead Operator - Water/Wastewater to oversee daily plant operations, train staff, and resolve complex issues at water and wastewater facilities.

The role requires a state-specific Water/Wastewater license, a high school diploma or GED with 5-7 years of experience, and preferred supervisory background. Proficiency in OSHA/DOT regulations and Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years water/wastewater experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Water/Wastewater Operator's License specific to state/site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operation and maintenance of treatment facilities.
• Trains and directs other personnel.
• Ensures SOPs and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA) are met.
• Collaborates with Operations Manager for safety and permit compliance.
• Coordinates with contract laboratories for QA/QC reporting and issues.
• Communicates with clients on routine technical aspects of operations.
• Trains employees on plant operations, repair and installation techniques, SOPs, and safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
