Mead & Hunt is seeking a dynamic business developer to grow our water practice in the Southeast and across our national platform. You will cultivate relationships with public clients, lead cross‑selling opportunities, and help shape a strategic growth plan with the One Water National Market Leader.

The role offers flexible remote-work options with reporting to the Florida regional office and travel up to 75% to support projects and client meetings.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field and at least five years of marketing experience.
• If no degree, at least nine years of relevant experience with five years in industry.

Mansioni

• Learn the Municipal Water/Wastewater industry and cross-selling opportunities.
• Engage with current and prospective public clients to expand Mead & Hunt's services.
• Communicate with clients and staff via web conferences, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
• Maintain CRM with forecasts, dates, costs, and proposal status.
• Draft and develop technically written proposals from SMEs and partners.
• Identify new sales leads and coordinate introductory meetings and follow-ups.
• Support proposal development for the Sales team and ensure proper reviews.
• Participate in trade associations and regional/national events.
• Understand market drivers including regulatory topics and funding.
• Participate in Go/No Go processes for proposals.
• Coordinate cross-market group meetings and share lessons learned.
• Assist with regional growth projections and goal setting.
• Prepositioning for strategic pursuits in water in FL, GA and the Carolinas.
