Job summary

BELFOR USA is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team. The role requires extensive knowledge of IICRC standards, proficiency with extraction and drying equipment, and the ability to map moisture and document losses.

The candidate will supervise crews, ensure safety and quality on residential and small commercial losses, and may travel or work nights and weekends as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carrying current IICRC WRT designation.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges encountered.
• Provide appropriate field documentation, photographic records, charts and sketches for various projects.
• Supervise small crews on above tasks.
• Travel and work at night and during weekends as required.
