Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC S500/S520 standards, supervise crews, and document moisture distribution with meters and IR tools.

Ideal candidates have 12 months in Basic Level Water Damage and demonstrated involvement in at least 25 water damage projects, with strong customer-service orientation and willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
Must carry current IICRC WRT designation.
Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage manual and procedures.
Proficient use of moisture meters and IR camera.

Responsibilities

Receive instructions from Supervisor and direct teams on PPE use.
Review project requirements and document progress for managers.
Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily and keep equipment in good condition.
Meet deadlines under time constraints and travel nights/weekends as needed.
Record time worked and materials used accurately and promptly.
Attend BELFOR operations and required safety training.
