Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead residential and small commercial losses, applying IICRC standards, operating extraction and drying equipment, and documenting moisture throughout projects.

The role requires supervising teams, managing multiple losses, strong field documentation, safety compliance, and occasional travel with night/weekend shifts; 12 months basic level experience and participation in at least 25 water damage projects preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 months of basic Water Damage experience
• Participation in at least 25 water damage projects
• Familiarity with IICRC S500 and S520 standards
• Current IICRC WRT designation
• Ability to draw sketches and moisture logs

Responsibilities

• Direct the water damage team and assign tasks
• Use PPE appropriately and ensure safety on site
• Document progress with photos, charts, and sketches
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and maintenance
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required
• Provide timely time and resource usage reporting
• Attend required BELFOR training and operations
• Ensure customer service standards in field operations
