Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration seeks a Water Damage Specialist at an intermediate level to head a water damage team, apply IICRC standards, and manage moisture assessment and documentation for residential and small commercial losses.

The role requires supervising up to 10 personnel, using specialized meters and infrared tools, and coordinating with supervisors to meet project deadlines. Frequent travel and on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard knowledge.
• IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard knowledge.
• Current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera; understanding materials.
• Sketching, floor plans, Moisture Content Log and Pychrometric Log.
• Air mover calculations and electrical power understanding.
• Mastery of HydroSensor and NavPro moisture tools.
• Experience with truck-mount extraction systems.
• Supervising small crews up to 10 people.
• Eligible to operate a vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• Strong sense of urgency, professional demeanor, and work ethic.
• English literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in using the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements and document progress.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance; keep them clean.
• Maintain attention to details in all tasks.
• Ensure adherence to BELFOR standards to protect client property.
• Demonstrate strong customer service principles.
• Work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
• Occasionally travel and work nights or weekends.
• Report time worked and equipment/ consumables used promptly.
• Attend BELFOR operations and required training.
