Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in the United States is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead residential and small commercial loss teams. You will apply IICRC standards, supervise crews, and document moisture and drying progress with specialized equipment.

You will assess moisture, operate field meters and cameras, and prepare accurate reports. Travel at night and on weekends may be required to meet deadlines, ensuring safety and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Experience supervising small crews (up to 10 people) on residential/commercial losses.
• English language literacy and fluency.
• Demonstrate ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan and moisture logs.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress and notify managers of progress and challenges encountered.
• Provide appropriate field documentation, photographic records, charts and sketches for various TPA projects.
• Perform daily inspections of vehicle safety and maintenance and keep these clean and in perfect conditions of use.
• Travel and work at night and during weekends as required.
• Attend operations sponsored by BELFOR and security training courses.
