Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to head the residential and small commercial water damage team. You will apply IICRC S500/S520 standards, manage on-site drying, and mentor junior technicians while coordinating with supervisors.

Role involves travel, night/weekend work, and documenting moisture extent with specialized tools. Strong customer service and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera to assess affected materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor and direct field teams.
• Use appropriate PPE and supervise team in correct job practices.
• Document progress with photographs, charts and sketches for projects.
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance daily and keep equipment in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with BELFOR standards to protect property.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills and a sense of urgency.
• Travel and night/weekend work may be required.
• Record time worked and materials used accurately.
• Attend required safety trainings and BELFOR operations.
